Analogue slideshow projection consisting of 80 photographs that showcase the provocative visual language, vibrant cosmos, aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling that define contemporary Somaliland, yet also taps into the nostalgic feeling of the Somali’s living in the diaspora.
The slideshow is accompanied by an audio piece created by Abdullah Barre consisting of audioscapes from Hargeisa as well as parts of interviews with among others, politician Fatima Saeed.
